T-Image! allows you to read in your own language any text you want to understand. We will help you recognize or translate any kind of typewritten document such as newspapers, menus, books, street signs, posters, ads, and whatever you want.

The following languages are available: Chinese, Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Spanish, Swedish. If you want to translate more languages, please send us an email.

The T-Image! API is extremely simple! Just follow the API instructions and receive the recognition / translation for your needs.

Please keep in mind that T-Image! is a machine translator and not a human translator. The complete process is automatic with no human in the loop, so to obtain the best translation quality,

• Avoid abbreviations and non-common words.
• Keep the grammar as simple as possible.
• Try to avoid words with multiple meanings.
• Check the spelling.

We are improving every day, so currently T-Image! works fine if you:

• avoid text distortion and perspective,
  
• hold still and use good lighting,
  
• turn off the flash.
  
• fill the screen with the document (best if portrait or landscape).
• take a sharp and focused photo.

The following file format extensions are currently supported: bmp, jpg, tif.
You should have a mobile phone with a camera of more than 1 Mpixel, with autofocus for small font size text. At this point, we do not guarantee an excellent processing if the image is blurred! Please be patient.
